The industry, particularly in the amateur segment sadly has an element of people that feel it's OK to test the limits of models in particular, and to act in ways that are wholly inappropriate. It's never OK to do this !!!

We will ensure that all our events are completely safe for models that are participating in them. Modelling limits will always be clearly defined for each event / model and we will always be present to ensure that these limits are never tested.

Infractions will not be tolerated.

Well, yes there is of course a small catch. But it is only a little one.

there is a small element of "Quid Pro Quo" in our free events. 

Whenever we offer our space, equipment and time for free, all that we ask in return is that we get the opportunity to shoot the model/s and or subject matter as well. This is for the purpose of promoting what it is that we do. We also ask that a few final edits, (digital) are supplied to us by the photographers for promotional purposes.

We ask that participants write a review for us and post it on Purple Port, our web site and Facebook pages tagging accordingly.

We also ask participants of FREE events, sessions to consent to being photographed and or filmed for the purpose of Behind The Scenes (BTS) stories, articles for our web site and social channels. This will only happen for certain events sessions.

That's it, apart from this small request it is indeed all FREE !!!

We obviously expect demand for these to be very high. You contact us expressing an interest and to "apply" for a FREE event.  

We will ask for a bit of information about what you would like to achieve, and for some links to your work. 

We will base our choices as to who FREE sessions are allocated according to various factors including how interesting their project is, the applicant's background, and potential need of a bit of a break to get a free session.

For example photography students may get a bit of an advantage, but we will take many factors into consideration based on the information you provide us.

However we are happy to look at all requests for FREE events with an open mind.

All our events are completely inclusive, in terms of gender, race, skin colour, ethnicity, faith, sexual orientation, etc.

HOWEVER: we have no wish to engage with people that are any of the following types or poses any of the following traits.

Sociopaths, misogynists, manipulators, narcissists, haters, bigots, bullies, creeps, pervs, people with egos, highly competitive natures, that are arrogant, selfish, intolerant and have a generally bad attitude.

Our events are not the right place fo these types of people.

If you want to rent our space every single bit of equipment in our inventory is included in the fee. You get access to over £70,000 of top quality lighting and grip equipment, all inclusive in the fee.

I will also be there to assist you during your shoot. All included in the fee.
